Butterflies & Himebotaru

"Himebotaru" is a small firefly that lives in the forest and has a body length of about 6 mm to 8 mm.
They give off a powerful light for a short time like a flash.
Female Himebotaru cannot fly, so if a large road is created in their habitat, they will be fragmented and extinct.
The habitat of "Himebotaru" hasn't been investigated much, so I've been investigating this firefly habitat for many years and taking pictures.
It is to make many people aware of this wonderful creature and to protect the fireflies.

I took this photo with a single shutter and did not composite it.
I went out to the nearby mountains every night and attached a timer-equipped release to 4 to 5 cameras to shoot automatically.
